The Era of Stable Coins

The Dai Stablecoin System Overview of the Dai Stablecoin System Popular digital assets such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) are too volatile to be used as everyday currency. The value of a bitcoin often experiences large fluctuations, rising or falling by as much as 25% in a single day and occasionally rising over 300% in a month  The Dai Stablecoin is a collateral-backed cryptocurrency whose value is stable relative to the US Dollar. We believe that stable digital assets like Dai Stablecoin are essential to realizing the full potential of blockchain technology. Maker is a smart contract platform on Ethereum that backs and stabilizes the value of Dai through a dynamic system of Collateralized Debt Positions (CDPs), autonomous feedback mechanisms, and appropriately incentivized external actors. Maker enables anyone to leverage their Ethereum assets to generate Dai on the Maker Platform. Once generated, Dai can be used in the same manner as any other cryptoc...

BLOCKCHAIN

What Is the Blockchain? Some say that the Blockchain is a chain of blocks. It sounds funny in the beginning, but after the first impression, this sentence brings many questions: "What is a chain?", "What is a block?", "What kind of information does the block contain?", etc Historical Overview  Imagine this is 1998, and you have just read a paper published by an engineer called Wei Dai, which describes a new electronic cash system that is based on a protocol which does not require any real money or checks to transfer funds from one account to another. This was an era before the credit cards became so popular and before PayPal (PayPal was established in December 1998 as Confinity).  B Money Wei Dai claims that a community should own the money, not one centralized organization, company, or individual, and the owners should be anonymous. All parties are identified only by a number or a public key. The system described by Wei Dai and inspi...

Generation of Machine Learning!!!!

Image
Machine learning (ML) is a category of  algorithm  that allows software applications to become more accurate in predicting outcomes without being explicitly programmed. The basic premise of machine learning is to build algorithms that can receive input data and use  statistical analysis  to predict an output while updating outputs as new data becomes available. The processes involved in machine learning are similar to that of  data minning  and predictive modelling. Both require searching through data to look for patterns and adjusting program actions accordingly. Many people are familiar with machine learning from shopping on the internet and being served ads related to their purchase. This happens because  recommendation engine  use machine learning to personalize online ad delivery in almost real time. Beyond personalized marketing, other common machine learning use cases include fraud detection, spam filtering, network security threat dete...

Difference between IT and CSE.

CSE ( Computer Science & Engineering ) and IT(Information Technology) both are quite similar in some or the other manner. I always have come across students who are confused between these two fields because of the lack of the understanding of the minute differences and similarities between the two engineering streams. Subsequently, aspirants should also be aware about their own interest/s and in which area would they like to make their career in? Or which one do they think will ensure a better future for them? Considering these points, let’s discuss the difference between both these engineering fields: CSE : Computer Science Engineers are involved in many aspects of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers and supercomputers to circuit designing and writing software that powers them. IT:   Information Technology deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to store, protect process, transmit and securely retri...

How do I start web developing?

As you are interesting in learning web development and becoming a web developer, depending on your background, you might be wondering where to start learning web development. One of the first things that I would suggest when starting out learning web development is that you have some kind of career or end goal in mind. Whatever the goal is, I think it’s important to have an understanding of WHY are you doing this. Remember, no matter how elaborate and far away the end goal may seem now, you CAN achieve it with hard work and perseverance. As a beginner, one should know that web development has two parts, front end and back end. Front end - this is what the end user sees and interacts with on the page. It’s all the design, fancy effects, layout and imagery that creates the user experience. Technologies often associated with front end web development are HTML, CSS, jQuery and Javascript. Back end - this is the part that typically processes, stores and manipulates data. It ...

History of Computers

Charles Babbage in 1833 invented all the parts that are now used for the modern computer. But the first ‘modern’ computer was invented only 120 years later. The Z1 was the first fully operational digital computer developed by Konrad Zuse in 1936. In 1939, he created the Z2 as the first electro-mechanical computer in the world. While Charles Babbage is being considered as the “father of the computer”, Zuse can be considered as the inventor of the “modern computer”. Generally speaking, computers can be classified into three generations. Each generation lasted for a certain period of time, and each gave us either a new and improved computer or an improvement to the existing computer. First generation: 1937 – 1946 -  In 1937 the first electronic digital computer was built by Dr. John V. Atanasoff and Clifford Berry. It was called the Atanasoff-Berry Computer (ABC). In 1943 an electronic computer name the Colossus was built for the military. Other developments continued u...
